Junior Code of Conduct

  • Play within the rules and respect officials and their decisions.

  • Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of gender, ability, cultural background or religion.
  • Members must keep to agreed timings for training and competitions or inform their coach or team manager if they are going to be late.
  • Wear suitable kit – club cricket kit or jogging bottoms and trainers – for training and match sessions, as agreed with the coach/team manager.
  • Pay any fees for membership, training sessions, matches or events promptly.
  • Do not smoke on club premises or whilst representing the club at competitions.
  • Do not consume alcohol or drugs of any kind on the club premises or whilst representing the club.
  • Refrain from unruly behavior and do not swear or be abusive to others.
  • Don’t drop litter at our ground or anyone else’s ground.
  • Always warm up before training sessions and matches.
  • Help the coaches with the equipment before and after training sessions, matches or events.
  • Always positively encourage team mates.
  • Be punctual for training sessions, matches or events.
  • Always listen to coaches, team managers and umpires.
  • Respect other clubs officials, players and supporters.
  • Regularly attend training sessions.
