The cricket is important, but we all know it's all about the teas! It is vey disappointing that since Covid a lot of cricket clubs no longer offer teas and this will never happen at Winchcc!
We are proud that at Winchcombe CC we have a long standing reputation as a great place for a cricket tea!
We do have people who kindly do teas for both of our teams but if you would like to volunteer to help or to do the odd weekend to give them a break or if you would like to bake cakes for the players that would be lovely (our players tend to be quite traditional, scones and sponges - they're not too keen on kale and quinoa!).
It's not too time consuming, a quick whizz around Tescos, a little bit of preparation and setting it out and then a few proseccos afterwards watching the game and having a chat, not a bad way to spend a Saturday afternoon!
